The reference sheet
Poses, proportions, colours and expressions. Everything the GPT needs to know what the horse looks like.
MAYA UPAYAGift Horse needed a stronger persona for its Web3 communications. I developed a recognisable character and a way for the team to create more content with it.
Give a Web3 character a consistent personality across community content.
Character direction, content variations and a GPT-powered production workflow.
GIFT HORSE / BRAND MARK
The earlier mascot felt generic and childlike. I refined the character’s tone, proportions and visual cues so it could appear in community content, rewards and everyday moments while remaining recognisable.

Poses, proportions, colours and expressions. Everything the GPT needs to know what the horse looks like.
A short list written into the GPT’s instructions.
Someone on the team writes the situation in one line: the horse in space, the horse outdoors, the horse at a milestone.
A person looks at the output before it’s used. If it’s off-brand, it goes back.
What I learned: there’s no magic prompt for consistency. The references matter, the rules matter, and someone still has to look at the output and say “this is off-brand, do it again.” I haven’t built a workflow that skips that step.
